Program description: At PFEC we use SMS texting to communicate with our patients for reminders of their appointments. We also send links to our HIPAA secure portal for patients to update their information. We also use SMS texting to notify patients when their eyewear is available for pick up. We also are available via text for conversations from patients directly to a PFEC staff member.

Frequency: You will receive messages only during the above-mentioned circumstances.

Opt-out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just reply back to CANCEL, STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL, END, and QUIT. After you send the SMS message CANCEL, STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL, END, and QUIT to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just text START, UNSTOP, or YES, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
